I'm currently doing a DPhil (pt-time) in Archaeology looking at trees/woody plants in heritage contexts I have  a career back ground in survey and restoration of historic gardens; and conducted research into the social construction of gardens, the phenomenology of plants and gardens and the construction of memory. Besides numerous site survey reports and conservation management plans, my published work includes:
