Museums in an Age of Self-Isolation

Museums in an Age of Self-Isolation

The enforced closure of museums around the world has seen an outpouring of online content, from curatorial walk-throughs of blockbuster exhibitions, to twitter chats and Tussenkunstquarantaine on Instagram, as museums look to reach out to their audiences. Our first Heritage Pathway webinar explores museums in an age of self-isolation, exploring the connections between engaging online content and commercial sustainability.

Speakers:

  • Alex Book (Chief Strategy Officer, Arcade Ltd)
  • Megan Gooch (Head of the Centre for Digital Scholarship and Digital Humanities Support, University of Oxford)
  • Josie Fraser (Head of Digital Policy, National Heritage Lottery Fund).

All are welcome to join us for a twitter chat following on from the session, hosted by the Oxford University Heritage Network (@Oxford_Heritage). Follow #HeritagePathway to join in!
