Stephen Wass of Polyolbion Archaeology will speak about his research into the 17th century water gardens at Hanwell Castle, Enstone and elsewhere. As part of his part-time DPhil in Architectural History research, Stephen has undertaken a study entitled, Voyages to the House of Diversion, Seventeenth-Century Water Gardens and the Birth of Modern Science.
